Threave Gardens

Dumfries and Galloway has an abundance of beautiful gardens open to the public, from the exotic Logan Botanical Gardens to the famous Threave Gardens in Castle Douglas. The mild climate of the west coast of the region means that many unusual and rare plants thrive. Several of the gardens open to the public also operate plant nurseries, so that you can have lasting memories of your holiday in your own home.

For the eager garden enthusiast Lochinch Castle holds the annual Galloway Garden Festival. Information can be found at: www.gallowaygardenfestival.org
